Another fantastic Christmas Fair held together with the Wey Hill Christmas Artisan Market and followed by Town Carols on Lion Green. It was the perfect opportunity to browse and buy for Christmas presents & stocking fillers at the wonderful stalls with Cruickshanks in the cafe and Santa and all his helper elves on hand to say hello too!
FREE CHILDREN'S PUMPKIN CARVING ACTIVITY

A fiendishly fun and spooooooky halloween half term afternoon was enjoyed by all here at Haslewey.
As part of our free community events program, we've had pumpkin carving galore with fantastically creative pumpkin lanterns made by all to take home to scare away the ghosts.
A huge thank you to Tesco for making it all possible!
WILD WEST RACE NIGHT
24th September, 2016
Cowboys and Cowgirls of all ages came together for a fantastic evening of armchair racing wild west style.
Mid evening nosebag was a delicious curry courtsey of The Natural Cook Company much enjoyed by all, with some extra hungry cowboys coming back for seconds too!
This fast and furious evening's fun and games raised over £800 towards funding our Community Events at the centre.
HASLEWEY STRAWBERRY TEA

The Strawberry Tea in the Wey Terrace and Café was full of people of all ages enjoying an afternoon tea with fun and games for Breast Cancer Care and Cancer Research UK. A huge thank you to everyone who supported this event by baking, donating, volunteering and attending who helped to raise over £400 for these two great charities.

HASLEMERE WEDDING FAIR

Over 150 Brides and Grooms to be came along to The Haslemere Wedding Fair, hosted by Haslewey and enjoyed one stop Wedding shopping – all under one roof!
With fantastic live music, demonstrations, food sampling and refreshments available passing guests enjoyed an entertaining time whilst gathering information for Their Big Day!
BUILD A BUDDY
February 17th, 2016
Spring half term saw lots of soft toy fun as Build a Buddy returned to Haslewey. A 'furry' creative afternoon was spent making unique personalised teddies, followed by a bear themed treasure hunt and then all the new buddies shared a Teddy Bears' Picnic together that was donated by Tesco.
HASLEWEY CHRISTMAS FAYRE

A fantastic year of events at Haslewey was rounded off with a Christmas Fayre organised and run by Cruickshanks Catering, with all proceeds being donated to 'The Prostate Project'. There was a chance to buy those last minute pressies, with lots of food and drink on offer. Even Santa popped in to say Hello, before making an appearance over on Lion Green at The Haslemere Christmas Carols.
IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE - STAGE PLAY
DECEMBER 13th, 2015
A fantastic performance was enjoyed by the Haslewey audience who were also treated as honorary townsfolk of Bedford Falls in the skillful retelling of this tale of redemption in small town America. By their brilliant use of scenery, space and quick costume changes the four actors created a town full of characters and delivered a vivid and memorable evening's entertainment. The silver screen classic was brought to Haslemere by the Farnham Maltings theatre group.
FREE SCREENING OF THE SNOWMAN & SNOW DOG

The little ones of Haslemere were greeted by Father Christmas, who gave them a pre-christmas pressie and a jolly HoHoHo, before they sat down to a screening of Raymond Briggs 'The Snowman & The Snowdog'. At the interval, there were free refreshments for all (courtesy of Tesco) and a raffle of some beautiful Snowman Toys. An enjoyable afternoon was then finished off with a screening of another Raymond Briggs animated classic, 'The Bear'.
VOLUNTEERS & TRUSTEES CHRISTMAS DINNER

On December 10, Haslewey hosted our annual Volunteers and Trustees Christmas Dinner. Without this fantastic team, Haslewey could not function and so it is with great pleasure that we say an enormous THANK YOU to all of the people that make this centre such an enjoyable place to be.
COOKING WITH DAD
The course was a joint venture with the Organic Cookery School and the Learning Tree at Haslewey. It was held at Haslewey Community Centre on Sunday 23rd November 2014 from 10:30am.
The fun hands on cookery session was aimed at children between the age of 3-11 and saw children cooking with thier dads, grandads, uncles and guardians.
The session was part funded by the National Lottery and was a great success.
LITTLE LUMPY CYCLE RIDE
Little Lumpy was back from its 6th year on May 18th 2014, with nearly 700 entrants cycling the three different routes. Proceeds go towards Haslemere Fringe Festival and Haslewey Community Centre.
A team of volunteers baked cakes and served riders at feeding stations en route. A number of volunteers were members & volunteers from Haslewey.
QUEEN'S DIAMOND JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS - CREAM TEA FOR 3000
During the Jubilee weekend in June, Haslewey volunteers prepared and sold 3000 cream teas. The event was organised by Haslewey staff, members and volunteers. The cream teas were sold on Lion Green at weekend long celebrations organised by Haslemere Festival.
ST. GEORGE'S DAY DINNER
Haslewey, together with the St George's Day Society held a traditional black-tie dinner in April 2012.
The event was well attended by the St. George's Day Society, members of the public and Haslewey staff, trustees, volunteers and members.
Guests were served by volunteers from Bohunt School and Haslemere Air Cadets.
